Kerstin Rodgers is a British chef, photographer, author, journalist and blogger under the brand MsMarmiteLover. She is known for introducing the supper club movement to the UK[1] and for creating Find A Supper Club, a network connecting underground restaurants and their customers.

Early life[edit]

Rodgers grew up in Highgate and attended South Hampstead High School.

Career[edit]

Rodgers' early career involved working as a photographer[2] for NME, Stiff Records, Virgin Records and Island Records, when she took shots of Kirsty McColl, Morrissey, French and Saunders and English ska band Madness. It was during this time that Rodgers struck up a relationship with Madness keyboardist Mike Barson, who wrote the song "My Girl" about her.

In February 2009, Rodgers set up The Underground Restaurant in her living room[3]. Since its launch, hundreds of supper clubs have been established in London and across the UK. Her website Find a Supper Club has become a central online resource for supper clubs, home restaurants and pop-ups worldwide to advertise their dates and locations.

Rodgers has one daughter, Sienna Rodgers, who is currently editor of LabourList.
