Kevan "K-Von" Moezzi (born August 1, 1983) is an American stand-up comedian and television star.
Biography[edit]
Moezzi was born to a Persian Muslim father and a Midwestern mother.[1] His father immigrated from Iran in 1977 and settled in Nevada, where he grew up. He graduated from Cimarron-Memorial High School, and later went to the University of Nevada, Reno, planning to pursue business.[2] He worked as both a salesman and a comedian before turning to comedy full time.[3]
He began swimming at the age of 5 and swam competitively. He was nationally ranked and competed in the Junior Olympics. He also worked as a lifeguard.[4]
Moezzi has done standup for Dry Bar Comedy.[5] Additionally, he has toured across the United States, visiting many college campuses.[6][7][8] He maintains a YouTube channel, which has more than 400,000 subscribes as of September 2023.[9] He has appeared on various TV shows throughout his career and has hosted a Tedx Talk.[10]
