Kevin Holloway-Harris is an American Actor and Entrepreneur known for his role as Detective Wills on Paramount Home Entertainment’s Crime Story and for his recurring role as Peter on the sitcom Grits: Girls Raised In The South.[1]
Early Life and Career[edit]
Kevin Holloway-Harris was born in Austin, Texas, but has lived almost all of his life in San Antonio, Texas. Kevin spent his grade school days impersonating Sidney Poitier and acting out scenes from comedy stand-up shows to his family and friends. At the age of 16, Holloway-Harris began his first acting class in Atlanta, Georgia to build his acting experience before enrolling in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in theatre at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas where he booked a number of stage productions. While attending, he starred in the productions of God oF Carnage, Really Really, And Sunset Baby.[2][3] In 2016 he enrolled at Savannah College of Art and Design in their Masters of Fine Arts Programs and began to study film and television acting.
In 2018, Holloway-Harris received his first screen role as Gilroy in the 2020 Briarcliff Entertainment film Emperor. From 2019 to 2020, he had a recurring role of Savannah College of Art and Design's sitcom GRITS: Girls Raised in the South as Peter.[4] In 2021 he starred in Co-starred in Saban Films and Paramount Home Entertainment’s Crime Story as Detective Tyshon Wills opposite Mira Sorvino.[5] He is currently a recurring character on the TV series Black Rain as Lt. Klein, premiered August 2021.[6]
