Kevin Kanouse

Kevin Kanouse is an American Lutheran bishop.
Life
Kanouse studied Lutheran theology and became a Lutheran priest. As bishop, Kanouse succeeded bishop Mark Herbener in 2000 as leader of Northern Texas-Northern Louisiana Synod. In 2016 Erik K. J. Gronberg succeeded Kanouse as leader of the Northern Texas-Northern Louisiana Synod. In 2015, Kanouse came out as a gay bishop.[1]
