Kevin Walling (born August 2, 1985) is a Democratic campaign strategist and media commentator featured on Fox News,[1], Fox Business[2], Fox Nation[3] MSNBC[4], Bloomberg TV, Bloomberg Radio[5], Canadian Broadcasting Corporation[6], Sky News, One America News, TRT World, NHK, and other outlets.

His opinion editorials have also been featured on FoxNews.com[7] and The Hill [8]. He is also a former surrogate for the Joe Biden 2020 presidential campaign.[9]

Early life, education, and early career[edit]

Kevin Walling was born and raised in Princeton, New Jersey[10].

Walling attended Catholic University of America[11], where he majored in political science. At Catholic, Walling was President of College Democrats,[12] and Treasury Vice President of Undergraduate Student Government.[13]. He graduated in 2007. [14]

After graduation, Walling was director of development and communications for Equality Maryland when elected officials in that state passed a gay marriage bill.[15] In 2010, Walling then was national field director for No Labels.[16][17] In 2013, Walling announced a run for the Maryland House of Delegates but later declined to file for the race.[18]

At the age of 28, Walling was elected to the Montgomery County, Maryland Democratic Party Central Committee and later served as Chairman, where he was the youngest and first openly gay Chairman.[19]

In 2017, Walling was named a Rising Star by Campaigns and Elections.[20]

Personal life[edit]

Walling is an only child.

He is a partner of of the Truman National Security Project.[21]
