Khaalid Jamaal Lewis (born August 21st, 1991) known professionally as Khadi Lee, is an American R&B singer and songwriter from Cleveland, Ohio. Born to Yvonne Lewis-Singleton (mother) and Andrew Flagg (father), Khadi was raised in a blended family with his mother and stepfather Ricky Singleton. Music has always been a part of Khadi’s life, from singing in choirs to competing in talent shows he has done it all. His musical influences range from Luther Vandross, Donny Hathaway and James Brown to Usher. Khadi embarked on his music career in 2016 releasing his first single “Prove It” the same year, with multiple releases to follow. In 2020, Khadi’s lead single "Prescription" off the “LVR Boy” EP (released July 17th, 2020) debuted in the top 20 R&B and Pop charts on Cleveland's WOVU 95.9FM. At the start of 2021, Khadi was recognized as Cleveland’s Real 106.1 iHeartradio “Spot Light Artist”. Partnering with radio personality/DJ “The Insomniac” of Real 106.1, Khadi premiered an advance listening session of his latest EP “Late Night Hour” released Jan 22, 2021. His upcoming single, "All Night", is scheduled for release on June 11, 2021. Khadi is currently in the studio working on new music for his upcoming project.
