Khalid Al Ameri is an Emirati YouTuber and vlogger who is known for his daily videos about life with his Arab wife Salama Mohamed and his kids, Khalifa and Abdullah.[1]

Early life and career[edit]

Born to an Emirati father and a Scottish mother in Abu Dhabi, Khalid graduated from high school at the American International School in Abu Dhabi and completed his MBA at Stanford University.[2]

Khalid started his career working with public sector investment companies and has spent five years working with Mubadala Development Company.[3] He is also co-founder of Food Startup Slices in Abu Dhabi.[3]

YouTube career[edit]

He appeared on a video by Etihad Airways along with Sophia (robot) in which Khalid tried to give Sophia her memory stick when she forgot it on the plane.[4]

"Khalid the Ramadan Show"[edit]

Khalid created a video series during Ramadan 2018 called "Khalid the Ramadan Show" who has earned an audience of more than 3 million followers on Facebook and YouTube. One of his videos featured him and his wife going on a pilgrimage (Hajj) to the Kaaba in Mecca, Saudi Arabia and his video fetched him 1,832,694 views. He mentioned in the video that it was Salama's birthday.[5]
