Khashayar Karimian
Khashayar Karimian, born February 12, 1949, in Tehran, is an Iranian-Canadian biochemist, researcher, and inventor. He received his B.Sc. (1972) and Ph.D. (1976) from Louisiana State University and joined the Faculty of the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the University of Tehran in 1977. In 1986, he immigrated to Canada, where he was Lecturer and Visiting Professor at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Toronto until 1989. He then joined the pharmaceutical industry, where he has been serving in various positions.
