Khor Chee Kee (Chinese: 许智麒), also known as Peter Khor, is a Malaysian Chinese singer signed under UDC Entertainment based in Malaysia.
Career
Pre debut
He was an autistic child at a very young age. However, his parents did not give up on him, and instead, they spent most of their fortune to help their son speak. Peter Khor has always been the quietest child in his family due to his unfortunate condition. One day, Peter Khor's parents discovered that he was attached to a guitar in their house, where he spent most of his time caressing it. From that moment onward, his parents knew he would be a shining star one day.
Debut
2011-Present
His first appearance was when he participated in the Voice of Pei Chai, where he managed to defeat 568 other singers to claim the second runner-up title. Despite being autistic, he persevered and did not give up, even though his competitors were not. However, he faced a difficult choice: whether to continue his dream of being a singer, or to enter the working environment because his parents had spent a fortune treating his condition. His decision was soon made when his sister was going to study abroad. He knew he had to take responsibility to support his family, and he could not do so by merely singing. While he was working in a sushi restaurant, he met the producer who changed his life, and he is none other than the legendary Zach Ng Chuan Hoe. Zach has been an elite figure in this industry, where he managed to discover Terrance, the co-writer of the song "UTAR, my dream". Zach did not hesitate to bring Peter into the celebrity world. As soon as he heard Peter's voice, he knew instantly that by giving him a microphone, he could change the world.
