Kick Rule

This is a rule that was created by Kick Van Breugel a young man working in the entertainment industry. The kick rule is directly connected to the game of French Boules. This rule was brought to the game on 02/06/2018 and was first used at the Marina Parc hotel in Menorca.

The rule stipulates when playing Boules or French Boules that a specific object must be hit by the players ball. For example for the boules to count it must make contact with a tree, so if you throw your boules and it doesn't make contact it must be removed from the playing area. This rule can be used with many different objects like walls, trees, branches so basically anything that you can see.

The history of this rule has come from certain objects being "out of bounds" but rather than having this as a rule on the above date "Kick" decided that a tree must be hit for the ball to count rather than be an object that must be missed by the players ball it must be hit to count.

Kick continues to use this rule and since being used in Menorca it has been used in the UK and is spreading worldwide rapidly.
