Kidderminster Hospital Radio was a hospital radio station for Kidderminster Hospital, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England.

It provided entertainment, music and news to the staff, patients and visitors of the Kidderminster Acute Hospital.[1]

The station was run by volunteers (registered charity number 504596).

In 2008 the station's future was said to be under threat.[2] It was dissolved by its members by way of an EGM on Sunday 29 April 2012.

  • Hello show - Broadcasting Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 7:30pm – 8:15pm
  • Upwards and Downwards - Broadcasting Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8:15pm – 9:00pm (Sundays 11:30am – 01:00pm)
  • Showtime - Broadcasting Wednesdays and Fridays 09:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Retrogrooving - Broadcasting Tuesdays 9:00pm – 10:00pm
  • The Sunday morning show - Broadcasting Sundays 10:00am – 11:30am
  • House of Fun - Broadcasting Sundays 01:00pm – 02:00pm

Also, Leigh Whitehouse & Scott Jones presented a popular evening show. Leigh Whitehouse became PR Manager & was able to lift the fund raising to records highs but this wasn’t enough to save the station.

The station’s base is now a car park for a newly built Doctor’s surgery.
