Kids Down The Block is an LA-based alternative rock band influenced by The White Stripes, Green Day, and Cage the Elephant. Angela, the lead guitarist and vocalist, and Nolan, the drummer and backup vocalist, met at Wildwood School in West LA and formed their band for an independent studies project. They both have experience performing at various school and local events. The setlist will include a mix of alternative covers and originals channeling the spirit of early 2000s rock. They are currently in the process of writing their first EP which will include original songs such as “Case of Anxiety” and “What’d She Say.” Nolan and Angela aspire to capture the relatable struggles of middle school from a firsthand perspective.
