Kieran Corrigan
Kieran Corrigan (born July 26, 1994) is a Canadian long-distance runner and alpine skier. He most recently won gold in the 1500m at the 2018 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.[1]
Corrigan competes in multiple individual and relay events. He was the gold-medalist in the 5000m, 3000m and 1500m at the 2017 Special Olympics Alberta Summer Games in Medicine Hat, Alberta.[2] He will also compete in alpine skiing at the 2019 Special Olympics Alberta Winter Games.
As an active member of the community, Corrigan has been recognized for his inspiring positivism and his role as an ambassador for individuals living with intellectual disabilities everywhere.[3]
