Killian Wright

Killian Wright is a British composer and sound designer known for his work in film, television, and commercial music. He is also the founder and creative director of Flow Stereo, a post-production sound studio.
Early life and education
Wright received a scholarship to Royal Holloway, University of London, where he pursued a Bachelor of Music degree in classical composition and performance.[1] He also holds a Trinity College Diploma in Piano Performance and achieved Grade 8 Distinctions in both Music Theory and Performance.[1]
Career
Wright's career as a composer and sound designer spans various media. His film scoring credits include "The Great Conjunction" (2021), which received multiple recognitions including 'Best Student Director' at the Prague International Film Festival and 'Best UK Film' at Dirigo International Student Film Festival.[2], "The Vulgariser" (2024), "Dark Moon" (2024), "Kill Your Darlings (Animation)" (2024), and "Misfortune" (2025), with the latter noted for its microtonality and sonic manipulation.[3]
His alternative score for the film No Country for Old Men (2022) was reviewed in Electronic Sound magazine.[4]
Wright has also composed orchestral works, receiving commissions from ensembles such as the Wymondham Symphony Orchestra and the Norfolk County Wind Band.[5]
His discography includes the albums Operose (2024), Cast Away (2024), An American Sniper (2023), No Country For Old Men (2022), and The Separation (2021).[6]
In addition to his compositional work, Wright is the founder and creative director of Flow Stereo, a post-production sound studio. Prior to founding Flow Stereo, he served as a Sound Supervisor at Lambda Films where he worked on audio campaigns for clients including Greenall's Gin, Vinted, and the University of Suffolk.[7]. He also led on the audio branding of Wayout TV: the UK's national TV channel for prisons.[8][9]
