She became a dedicated practitioner and opened a yoga studio in NYC well into her teaching and study practices. When Yoga Sleuth heard a new studio opened in the East Village offering yoga for tired people, they came to investigate.[1]In an interview by Rick Schwartz What It's Like To Be: A Yogi, Stetz says she opened her New York yoga studio Savasana Station in 2014, after practicing yoga for over 25 years. She stated Yoga practice opened her eyes to a whole way of living that she had no idea was a part of yoga.[2]As an expert in the field, Stetz wrote for many yoga and spiritual blogs such as Mind Body Green and Elephant Journal about movement and spiritual practice.[3]Stetz, a long time tenant in the East Village, teamed up with housing and community advocates, Cooper Square Committee, to fight for clean and safe rent stabilized housing. [4]When gas was turned off for over three months, Stetz spearheaded the initiative by calling 7 on Your side to intervene. [5]Progressing in her health, wellness, and advocacy career, Stetz became a CAURD (Conditional Adult Use Recreational Dispensary) licensee as a business owner in Keep It 100 LLC.[6]
