Kimasar (gorge)
Kimasar gorge (Kim-Asar, Komissarovskoe gorge) - gorge of the Komissarovka river, a left tributary of Malaya Almatinka, Kazakhstan. The length is 6 km. In the upper part, the gorge bifurcates. The Kimasar camp is located on the territory of the gorge.

At the fork in the gorge there is a jaeger cordon.
The right gorge ends with an exit to the Komissarovsky pass.
The left gorge ends with a waterfall and an exit to the foot of Furmanov peak. In the valleys of the left gorge until July, one can find the remains of avalanches that descended in winter.
The ski cooperative "Kimasar" is located in the gorge.
In the middle of the last century, a swing was built by lovers of mountain hikes on the road to Furmanov Peak. Located at an altitude of 2,600 meters above sea level, it has become one of the main attractions of the gorge.[1]
Name
There are two versions of the origin of the name: from the Kazakh word "Kim Asar", which translates as "Who will help" and from the word "Commissar".
