Kings Traders was a general trading business since the 1960s and is currently a mens and womans custom shoe store and Pen Store in Dubai, UAE. It was founded near Dubai's first traffic light and was named Kings, in the Bur Dubai area. They later shifted to DIFC in Dubai and due to the closure of Gate Avenue the are currently situated in Spring Souq. The company was rebranded in the 2020s to Kings again.

Overview

Kings is an company that has developed its brand through its very own designed software to produce shoes. The offer many types of products with many types of materials and art work too. Many colors are also available and customization of soles and exterior shoes such as printing are also available.

Often many shoes are sold out at the online store.

The store at DIFC was inaugurated by its friends and family members.

Some shoes are available at their retail location and each shoes has its own unique style.

Products

Kings is reknowned for the custom leather products including shoes, shoe trees, socks, belts, pen cases, wallets, cigar holders, cardholders they also supply accessories such as pocket squares, shoe cleaning supplies, laces, laces and scents/fragrances, brands include Shadazzle, Fulton and Roark and More.

The have several materials such as linen, calf leather, patina, suede, patent leather, fabrics and more and some custom orders in store are done through a large touch screen. They have also merged with 3DM since the beginning. Many of the products are said to be supplied from Spain or India.

They also teamed up with 100 hands to sell shirts as well.

They have several brands in pens as well many of which are mentioned on Pens Corners website. They may not hold as many as Pens Corner but still do hold an ample supply of pens. Pens also does hold their cigar holders, cardholders and wallets. Their brands include Sheaffer, Cross, Waterman, Parker, Caran Dache, Sailor, Lamy and a few more. The prices are the same as Pens Corner and the same guarantee is applied. They would even supply each other with products at DIFC and Bur Dubai.

They offer free shipping as well.

Members

Nilesh Karani is the founder of the newly developed Kings (Est 1960s). He attended Indian High School and later did his graduation from Mumbai. He was a systems banker at HSBC prior joining Kings with his father. He was also a member of BNI.

Karan Karani is the co partner of Kings Traders in Dubai, UAE he is a graduate of Middlesex in Dubai and did his schooling in various places in Dubai and India until graduating from Cambridge high school, he also attended Doon International School and Dubai Gem Private School.

Rishi Karani a part time co partner and model of the store as well and is an active gym trainer. He graduated from the University of Hartford and also studied in many places in Dubai and India until graduating from Cambridge High School; he also attended Dubai Gem Private School, GEMS Modern Academy and Doon International School. Rishi is an acclaimed and award winning basketball athlete and has performed at BAA in Dubai with great averages of the starting position.

The store also has consistently 2 - 3 employees that have stayed a term for over 5 - 15 years.

Former Members

Hemchand Karani was the founder of the store after moving from India with his family. His sons Punit and Bharat would help him out throughout his career and until Nilesh got older he joined him. He was a clubs athlete too and would frequently practice yoga at a young age and was also a mentor of yoga. He has also been Krishna Temples honorable joint secretary including relatives, Lalit and Ashwin Karani and J. Kewalram. During his time there he would sell, garments, textiles, eyewear and was also an investor. They would also supply Mont Blanc until shifting to DIFC. The store was then situated in Meena Bazar near Gulaab Building, Habib Bank and Emirates NBD.

Hemchand and Nilesh were later seen alongside Pens Corners Bharat Karani on radio.
