Kingsley Amafibe (born August 10, 1977) is a Nigerian peace advocate, media executive, entrepreneur, and humanitarian known for his contributions to peacebuilding, leadership advocacy, talent, and community development in Africa. He is the founder of the DavDan Peace and Advocacy Foundation, African Leadership and Business Executive Magazine, Peace Achievers International Conference, and the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa initiative. These platforms aim at promoting peace, unity, and leadership.[1][2]
Amafibe has gained recognition for organising international leadership summits, peace conferences, and advocacy campaigns that have enjoyed collaboration from government institutions, business leaders, civil society organisations, and young Africans. He currently serves as Project Director Africa for the 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit and 100 Most Notable Diaspora Round Table.[3][4]
Background and education
Amafibe was born in Delta State. He is a graduate in Finance and Banking and has a master's degree in Business Administration from the American Management University, USA.
He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership. Additionally, he received special training in CIML Business School, where he obtained a diploma in media and advertising, and joined as an adviser and member of Crown Point International College of Health and Technology and Havilla University[5]
Career
He has organised roundtable initiatives to get communities to come together to discuss ways to achieve lasting peace in their domains. Amafibe Kingsley has partnered with state governments to bring development to the grassroots through the scholarship programs he has piloted, especially in the Northern states of Nigeria.[2]
He has so far hosted 15 editions of the Peace Achievers International Conference.[6]
At the maiden edition of the ‘100 Most Notable Peace Icons in Africa’ honours, Ex-President Jonathan was named ‘Symbol Of Peace’ amongst 100 Most Notable Peace Icons in Africa.[7]
In 2024 and 2025, Kingsley Amafibe organized the 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit 2024, which was held at Marriott Hotels in Kigali, Rwanda. The event enjoyed attendance from Nigerian leaders, including the Governor of Zamfara state, Dauda Lawal, and the former President of Nigeria. Goodluck Jonathan, who received the honor. He also hosted the African Diaspora Round Table Business Meeting in New York, United States of America.[8][9]
He is also a member of the International Peace Commission, a member of the 36 Pals Initiative, a member of the Governing Council Board, Havilla University, and a partner of Peacefulmind Foundation Fellowship [10]
Amafibe has been involved in some continental initiatives promoting trade liberalization, youth development, and sustainable growth within Africa. His advocacy efforts have also extended into educational scholarship projects, humanitarian outreach, and community empowerment programs targeted at underserved populations.[11]

Personal life
He is married to Amafibe Obumnaeke Rosita, and they have 2 children together, Prince David Ugochukwu Amafibe and Prince Daniel Tobechukwu Amafibe.[9]
