Kingsley Eze (often known as Sir K) is a Nigerian technology entrepreneur, engineer, and business executive. He is the founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Tenece Holdings Limited, an international technology-consulting conglomerate, and the founder of Genesys Tech Hub.
Early life and education
Eze studied at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), where he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering. He later received an MBA from INSEAD and became an alumnus of the London Business School after undergoing advanced leadership and executive training. He holds honorary doctorate degrees from Godfrey Okoye University and Coal City University.
Career
Eze began his professional career in the banking sector as a Financial Control Analyst at Diamond Bank Plc. He later moved into technology consulting, joining Accenture (then Andersen Consulting) during the early rise of enterprise digital tools in Nigeria.
Between 2005 and 2008, he served as the Head of E-Business at NEXTZON Business Services Limited, where he managed e-government initiatives and technology strategies. He also worked as the founding Managing Director and CEO of GPS Solution Limited and CFS West Africa.
In 2008, Eze founded Tenece Professional Services with minimal initial capital. Under his management, the company expanded into Tenece Holdings, an enterprise transformation conglomerate operating multiple subsidiaries with hundreds of employees across offices in Lagos, Enugu, Abuja, Accra, Addis Ababa, and Dubai.
To combat talent scarcity and high attrition rates in the regional IT sector, Eze established Genesys Tech Hub in Enugu. The tech hub provides tech education, accommodation, and paid internships, training thousands of digital enthusiasts and funding local startups.
Outside of information technology, Eze has served on the presidential advisory group on technology and creativity. He is the Group CEO of parent conglomerate Tenece Holdings, which manages commercial interests across real estate, software development, agriculture, and manufacturing.
Personal life and recognition
Eze is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE). He serves as an academic faculty member at the University of Nigeria Business School and is a member of the Strategic Advisory Board for Coal City University.
