Kiran Amegadjie is an American football offensive tackle who currently plays for the Yale Bulldogs.
Early life and high school
Amegadjie grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois and attended Hinsdale Central High School. He was ranked among the top-300 offensive lineman in the class of 2020 and led the team with 25 wins for over three seasons.[1] He was rated a two-star recruit and committed to play college football at Yale over offers from Central Michigan, Indiana State and Southern Illinois.[2]
College career
Amegadjie's freshman season at Yale was canceled.[3] During the 2021 season, he played in and started every game at right guard and also earned the Charles Loftus Award. During the 2022 season, he played in and started all 10 games at left tackle and finished the season with a solo stop tackle and was selected on the First team All-Ivy League.[4]
During the 2023 season, he played only four games due to a season-ending injury that required him having surgery.[5] He finished the season with one solo stop tackle and was named to the Reese's Senior Bowl Watchlist.[6]
On November 20, 2023, Amegadjie officially declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.[7]
