Kiran Kumar Yadugiri
Kiran Kumar Yadugiri (born June 9,1969), also known as Lion Dr. Y Kiron[1] is an Indian entrepreneur, Industrialist, Businessman,Philanthropist, Motivational Speaker, Diplomat, Author and Columnist.[2] He is best known as CEO and Managing Director of Suchirindia Group, Founder of SuchirIndia Foundation (previously known as Vishwabharati Foundation) and Honorary Consul of Republic of Bulgaria[3]. Kiran is a business magnate, sports and adventure lover and member of many social and professional bodies.[2]
Kiran Kumar has been celebrated in his personal and professional capacities. He has received an award for professional excellence. Kiran is popularly known in close circle is a philanthropist and received Bala Bandu Award for his services for the welfare of the street children and NTR Memorial Trust award as an outstanding blood donation camp organizer besides many other awards to his laurel.[4] Y Kiran received Indian Achievers Award 2019 by government for his services in the field of Business, Commerce and Real Estate Industry.[5]

Kiran was born on June 9, 1969, in Hanamkonda, Telangana, the son of Y Venkateshwarlu and Y Pushpakumari and raised in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. He graduated from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad in 1989 with a degree of Bachelor of Commerce. He holds an executive MBA from International University Fundamental Studies (IUFS), St. Petersburg, Russia with honors in International Business Management & Marketing.[6] He got his honorary doctorate in Urban Planning and Tourism Development from University of NorthWest, USA. Kiran also has PG Diplomas in Public Relations and computer sciences and he has been appointed as the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria by Gazette Notification from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Govt. Of India in Hyderabad.[6]

After Kiran Kumar graduated from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University in 1989, he worked in Defense Research Development Organization(DRDO), Hyderabad. Beyond his impressive qualifications, Kiran was also professionally associated with various companies over the years before he became an entrepreneur. In June, 2009 founded SuchirIndia Foundation which was previously known as Vishwabharati Foundation.[8]

Honorary Consul of Bulgaria[edit]
In a move aimed at strengthening the economic and cultural relations between Bulgaria and Andhra Pradesh, the Bulgarian embassy unveiled the first honorary consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria in South India in Hyderabad.[11]
In 2012 Bulgarian embassy appointed Dr. Y Kiran Kumar as the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria by Gazette Notification from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Govt. of India in Hyderabad for his philanthropic personality.[11]

Kiran Kumar is a man of sports and adventure. He made an adventure expedition to the south pole Antarctica in a Russian vessel and also received Hall of Fame Award given by the United States Martial Art Association for his contribution to Golden Dragon Martial Arts shared another spokesman.[1]

Philanthropy[10][edit]
Kiran has sponsored and released an Audio CD explaining the importance of wearing helmet while driving two wheelers on the roads. Suchirindia has also set up a foundation to help students from economically weak backgrounds to complete their higher education while concentrating on completion of their present education.[10]
Kiran contributes free utensils to the poor children of Arundhati Primary school in Nallakunta often and ensures that mid-day meal scheme of the state government is properly implemented in order to encourage poor children complete their primary education. Regularly visits to senior citizen homes and provides them with day-to-day requirements such as foot wears, blankets, clothes, fruits etc. as they need from time to time. He also organizes celebrations such as Mother's day in Shanti old-age home in Malakpet to augment their emotional needs.[10]
Kiran also provides rice bags every month to the inmates of Apna Ghar, a home for orphan children at Kothapet near Dilsukhnagar in Hyderabad.[10] Kiran provides 10 quintals of rice to Vaidhehi Ashramam, an orphanage home at Saidabad to enable them to have sufficient food for the entire year.[10]
Kiran also performs marriages of poor and the needy. Two couples were married off at Vaidhehi Ashramam at Saidabad in April 2009 with all required formalities carried out by Kiran including household utensils, clothes etc. Kiran regularly conducts Children's Day Carnival for 'Street Children' on every 14th of November on the birthday of Chacha Nehru.[10]
Kiran frequently visits orphanage homes and homes for the street children to check on their welfare. He distributes sweets, blankets, books, clothes etc. to each one of them and encourages them to study. He frequently conducts science quiz competition for school children at state level called 'QuantumQuiz’.[10]
Kiran kumar organized mass marriages for the poor in Karimnagar town in 2007. Eye screening camps were conducted for 25,000 school children in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy district. Flood Relief camp in Kurnool and Mantralayam - Due to unconditional weather, major loss occurred in and around Kurnool district. Suchirindia Foundation took a big step to support flood victims in Kurnool.[10]
