From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Kirk Seamus Minihane (born October 31, 1974) is an American podcaster, radio and television personality, newspaper columnist, screenwriter, editor, and novelist. He is best known as the host of The Kirk Minihane Show on Barstool Sports,[1][2] Based out of Boston, Massachusetts, Minihane attended Winchester High School in 1993 and graduated from Fordham University with a Degree in American Literature.[3]

After working briefly as a columnist for the Lowell Sun[4] Minihane rose to prominence as a talk radio personality on Entercom's New England sports station WEEI-FM as co-host of the Dennis and Callahan Show.[5] Following the departure of John Dennis, Minihane became the leading voice of the new show, Kirk and Callahan, propelling the controversial morning drive program to the top of the ratings in the Boston metropolitan area.[6][7][8]

On May 22, 2019, Minihane was released from his contract with Entercom following a protracted and public dispute with the company's leadership.[9][10] Following Minihane's release from Entercom, ratings for his former WEEI show fell significantly.[11] Minihane subsequently signed on with Barstool Sports.

On April 19th 2018, Kirk Minihane exposed Boston Globe writer Kevin Cullen of writing falsifying personal testimonies regarding the Boston Marathon Bombing.[12]

In Late November Kirk Minihane encouraged his producer Steve "Red Snapper" Robinson to pursue his dream of running his very own bed and breakfast, named "Big Steve's Bed and Breakfast". The Big Steve's Bed and Breakfast motto is best known for their mission statement of "Welcome to the Big Steve's Bed and Breakfast. I hire high school kids. I'll teach you how to live. Six rooms here at the Big Steve's Bed and Breakfast. I'll hand my wife the broom. She can clean your room". This bed and breakfast later became known as the Sheraton and spawned a national hotel chain.
