Kirk Sommer

Kirk Sommer is a major agent at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment representing such artists as The Killers,[1] Amy Winehouse,[2] Adele,[3] Brandon Flowers, Pet Shop Boys,[4] Steve Aoki,[5] Paolo Nutini,[6] Ellie Goulding,[7] Morrissey,[8] Weezer[9], The Shins, Michael Kiwanuka,[10] Jake Bugg[11] and Arctic Monkeys.

While attending NYU, Sommer organized open-mic events in his native New York worked in promoter Ron Delsener's office. Sommer was named "Top 30 Under 30" in the music industry by Billboard Magazine 3 years after becoming an agent.[12] He also served as a judge for the KCA "Rebels with a Cause" band competition.[13]

In 2010, Sommer was nominated "Agent of the Year" by Pollstar.[14] In 2011, Sommer was nominated "Agent of the Year" by Pollstar.[15] In 2012, Sommer topped "the most influential booking agents in the world" list in Paper Magazine.[16]
