Kiyoshi Iketani (Japanese: 池谷淳, Iketani Kiyoshi; 29 April 1932 – 4 June 2021) was a Japanese businessman and politician.[1]
Biography[edit]
Born in Shimoda, Iketani graduated from the Faculty of Law at Chuo University.[1] He began working for Ajinomoto in 1958 and became its Managing Director for Shimoda in 1962.[2] He was elected to the Shimoda City Council in 1971 and became Mayor in 1984, serving until 2000.
Kiyoshi Iketani died on 4 June 2021 at the age of 89.[3]
