Kizuna Ai ( Japanese : キズナアイ ) is a Japanese virtual idol, video blogger-creator and runs YouTube channel "A.I.Channel" and "A.I.Games". She is considered to be the world's first virtual YouTuber. At the end of November 2016, Kizuna Ai opened her first major channel "A.I.Channel" on YouTube. But the channel was suspended, and the videos had to be transferred to the Niconico Douga website. In March 2017 Kizuna Ai gradually got Japan's, South Korea's and other places' attention mostly because of the opening of the gaming channel "A.I.Games"
Kizuna Ai's appearance is designed by Morikura Maru (森倉円). Her 3D model is produced by Tomitake, and Tda is responsible for the production of the model, but the actual story editor, the source of the sound and other creators are not revealed. The video in the channel is rendered and animated with the free software MikuMikuDance using motion capture technology and is voiced by a voice actress. The topics discussed in this video are similar to other normal YouTubers, including hosting discussions, Q&A videos, game live streams, and so on. Although the sound of Ai-chan in the film is mostly in Japanese, the channel also allows fans to translate the videos and put up subtitles in different languages.
The current A.I.Channel's way of operating is closer to the technology showcase and fans' operation. The channel has set up an official website, Twitter and Instagram account. It was in the 2017 annual Anime Japan booth when A.I.Channel began to promote cooperation with game companies.

Kizuna Ai is a fully software-created, online virtual character. As the identity of the creator behind the scene is not known, the actual animator, story writer, the voice actress and gamer players are not yet confirmed. However, because the film has a certain quality, including the character design, camera editing, motion rendering, etc., "A.I.Channel" is more likely made by professionals rather than amateurs. "A.I.Channel" is considered to have been planned by a professional production team and has chosen confidential action in order to affect the concept of a virtual idol. However, this also causes theories about the production team members and the A.I. technology. A user has once theorized on Reddit that the YouTube channel belongs to the "Project AI" company .
The list of production team members who participate in the virtual YouTube channel are mostly well-known. Among the people responsible for the Kizuna Ai character design, Tomitake responsible for 3-D modelling while Tda is the supervisor, who is well known for making the MikuMikuDance Tda Hatsune Miku append model. Morikura Maru, the person that takes charge of designing Ai-chan, is a well-known artist. The team wanted wanted to create a lovely image of a cute schoolgirl.
As the YouTuber of "A.I.Channel", Kizuna Ai has sometimes been regarded to have a professional voice provider because of her feminine, cute, charming and realistic voice . However, it is unknown whether there is a voice provider. It is officially claimed that there is no voice providers behind Kizuna Ai so there is no public information related to the voice. Some theorize that because of the flawless sync of the speech and the action the motion and voice may be provided by the same person.

In her character settings, Kizuna Ai has recognized herself as a virtual idol/YouTuber, that she is an independent operating artificial intelligence and the world's first "virtual YouTuber". Kizuna Ai hopes to reach out to her audiences, eventually become a YouTuber that can take part in advertisements and even better than Hatsune Miku. Kizuna Ai also hopes to stop the conflict between artificial intelligence and humans, especially when technology development raises a variety of concerns. She also hopes that technology and people will able to coexist.
During her first introduction, Ai-chan introduced herself as "Kizuna AI" and "AI" correspond to the Japanese word "Love". The cuteness possessed by Kizuna Ai and the fact that she is an anime schoolgirl causes her to be able to attract many audiences. The age of Ai-chan is about 16 years old and her birthday is June 30 2010.She has a height of 156 cm and weighs about 46 kg. Her B/W/H is B85, W59 and H83. She has a lively personality with a sweet voice and a unique way of speaking .
