The memorial called "Klithma" is located in "1 Maji" square in Elbasan, as a sign of gratitude to the people of this city who welcomed the Cham community during the genocide after the Second World War. This memorial will remember the day of the Greek genocide against the Albanians of Chameria and the gratitude to the people of Elbasan who opened their doors to welcome the Cham people. The day of June 27, 1944 has already remained in the bloody Albanian history as the day when the Greeks forcibly forced about 25 thousand people of the Cham community to leave their lands. The memorial was created by the sculptor Vladimir Caridha and was financed by the city municipality and the Cham community with a value of 2.5 million lek.
