Overview[edit]

The company is headquartered at Ipsley Barn, part of Ipsley Court in Redditch, England, a Grade II Listed building built by Sir John Huband Bt. and formerly occupied by The Law Society.[2]

Knights work with local health drives such as Umbrella Health, a Birmingham based sexual health initiative,[3] and a sore throat test in Wales[4] and has also one multiple awards including two at the C+D Pharmacy Awards 2019 [5]

History[edit]

Knights was founded in 1984 by Nitin Sodha in a Portakabin in the Crabbs Cross area of Redditch with funding from the Enterprise Allowance Scheme which granted him £40 per week for one year to create a healthcare business for one year. Over time Knights Pharmacy expanded and now operates in 70 sites from Glastonbury to Hadrian[6], and in 2017 was placed in the top 50 fastest growing pharma businesses in the UK.[7]
