Kohinoor is a Nepali action drama film written and directed by Akash Adhikari. The film stars Shree Krishna Shrestha[1] and Shweta Khadkain lead roles. The film was released in 2014 after the death of Nepalese superstar Shree Krishna Shrestha in Delhi. The film is a musical love story action drama based on the issue of girl trafficking. It is a story of love, dedication and the social issues faced by country.The film received positive response from critics for its performances especially of Shree Krishna Shrestha, the film's story and screenplay, direction and music. The film became a commercial blockbuster at the box office and was the highest grossing Nepali film of all time until its record was broken by Chhakka Panja in 2016. The films success was also credited for tribute to Shree Krishna Shrestha.
