Kokila Konasinghe is a Sri Lankan environmental lawyer, lecturer, writer and conservationist.[1][2] She founded the Centre for Environmental Law and Policy at the University of Colombo.[3]
Education
Konasinghe graduated with an L.L.B. from the University of Colombo, an L.L.M. from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a PhD from Keele University. She conducts awareness sessions.
Career and Advocacy
Konasinghe is a senior lecturer at the Law Faculty of the University of Colombo where she conducts environmental projects under the campaign Law Goes Green.[4][5] She conducts legal awareness sessions.[6]
Konasinghe has produced key legal research towards environmental conservation.[7][8][9]
