Kokoro Kohatsu (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.; born November 9, 2000) is a Japanese singer and dancer, and a member of the seven-member male group PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE, managed by LDH JAPAN.[1]
He serves as a vocalist in the group. He is from Okinawa Prefecture.[2][3]
Career
Childhood to Pre-debut
Born in Uruma City, Okinawa Prefecture, he was a child who loved physical activity and music, often performing the traditional Okinawa Eisa dance from a young age.[2]
He began dancing at the age of five and, as a first-year junior high school student in 2013, participated in LDH's audition “GLOBAL JAPAN CHALLENGE,” making it to the final round.[4] Although he did not pass the audition, it became a turning point—prompting him to enroll in EXPG Okinawa School in 2014,where he began full-scale training.[4] Initially focused solely on dance, his vocal talent was later discovered during his time at EXPG, leading him to begin vocal training as well.[2]
In 2015, he was selected for LDH's young talent development project “EXILE GENERATIONS.” [5]
In 2017, he began his activities as a member of “Crasher kidz,” a project group from EXPG Lab formation and Debut of PSYCHIC FEVER.[5]
“PSYCHIC FEVER” was officially unveiled for the first time on July 4, 2019, during the 'BATTLE OF TOKYO' held at Makuhari Messe.[6]
On July 13, 2022, they made their major debut with their first album P.C.F.[7]
Looking back on the four years leading up to their debut, Kohatsu said, “There were tough times, but when my parents told me, ‘You can quit if you want,’ it actually strengthened my resolve and I decided, ‘I will definitely become an artist.’”[2]

Music Collaborations
In addition to group activities, he actively participates in collaborations with overseas artists.
In 2023, he sang the official theme song “Mirai wo egaite” for “Japan Expo in Bangkok 2023,” one of the largest Japanese events in Thailand, together with the Thai co-ed group bamm.[8]
In 2024, he again performed the theme song for “Japan Expo in Bangkok 2024,” singing a new version of “Mirai wo egaite” in collaboration with NuNew, a popular Thai actor and singer.[9]
This marked the second consecutive year that Kohatsu performed the theme song for this event.[9]
Events and TV Appearances
On the TBS variety show THE OFFER, which premiered on April 19, 2025, Kohatsu appeared in the first episode and accepted a challenge to directly approach EXILE ATSUSHI to request a live collaboration, stating, 'I'd like to sing with you live.' They later performed 'You're my “HERO”' together at ATSUSHI's solo concert.[10]

Personality
Known for his hardworking and earnest spirit, he persists in strength and vocal training long after his debut. Both he and others consider him the group's ‘stoic representative.’ [2]
While working internationally, he has actively studied languages. During his stay in Thailand shortly after his debut, he used his free time away from group activities to study the language. He often hosts MC segments in Thai at events and is regarded as the most fluent Thai speaker in the group.[11]
Influences and Relationships
His admired artists are EXILE ATSUSHI and Bruno Mars. Watching EXILE's performances on TV as a child, along with the documentary film THIS IS IT about Michael Jackson, deeply influenced his decision to pursue a career as an artist.[2]
