International[edit]

  • 01/2015: "2014 The Best Case Award" 2015 Annual Scientific meeting, The American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (ASRM), Bahamas
Members of the ASRM perform microsurgery at an incredibly high level. Despite this, cases often tend to be one-of-a-kind and therefore not well suited for public dissemination or publication. Every year at the annual ASRM meeting ASRM will be addressing this situation by presenting two awards for excellence in microsurgery and complex reconstruction. One award will focus on microsurgical salvage from a complication (self-created or other), the other on the best microsurgical case of the year. By offering these awards, the ASRM hopes to showcase some of the incredible talent and innovation that their members possess and utilize on a daily basis.
