Konik Acharjee (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.; Sylheti Nagri: Template:Script/Syloti; bn; born 07 October 1993) is a Public Health Specialist, Epidemiologists, and Physician and former Health Centre In-Charge at ASA. He achieved his MPH from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College. After working more than 10 years as Health Centre In-Charge at ASA, he joined Viyellatex Group [1] as a Medical Doctor of Emergency Hospital.
Biography
Early life and education
Konik Acharjee was born on 07 October 1993 in Habiganj. His father, Harendra Acharjee, was a Priest who retired from Kederpur Tea Com. Ltd. [2][3][4] in 2023. His mother is Kalpana Rani Acharjee who is a Cottage Artist. He spent his childhood in different parts of Bangladesh because of the transferring nature of his father's job. His two elder sisters, Popy Rani Acharjee, is a Health Promotion Officer and Rima Rani Acharjee is a housewife. He has a younger sister, Juma Acharjee, who is also a housewife.
Konik passed the SSC exam from Deen Nath Institution in 2010 and the HSC exam from Brindaban Government College. He earned his bachelor's and master's in Anthropology from the National University, Bangladesh in 2017. Then he went to the Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College[5] to earn his MPH in 2022. He is a registered Physician. [6]
Career
Academic
After obtaining his MPH degree, Konik worked as a Medical Doctor (MD) at Viyellatex Group from 6th December 2023 to present.

Volunteering Social Work
Konik is a registered Posthumous eye donor and registration from Sandhani National Eye Donation Society [17]. In a noble gesture, Konik Acharjee spearheaded a free medical camp [18][19] in Haluaghat, Mymensingh, in 2023. This humanitarian endeavor offered vital medical care to the region's impoverished population, alleviating their health burdens and improving their overall well-being.
