The Korea International Medical Association is Korea’s first private organization related to international healthcare and welfare. Especially, KIMA is comprised with over 25 general and specialty hospitals with greatly skilled medical teams and well-supported international medical services. Most KIMA members are recognized by the government as major hospitals that specialize in advanced medical activities. They are contributing greatly to the international community by providing medical education and medical service for other countries.
In particular, KIMA members provide interpretation and customized services to foreign patients in order to ensure smooth treatment regardless of race, language, culture, or nationality.
In the future, KIMA will take the lead in promoting the status of Korean medical care to medical consumers from all over the world and will lead the globalization of Korean medical care so that Korea can attract attention as a medical destination.
