The Korea Popular Music Awards (abbreviated as KPMA) is a music awards show that was first held in South Korea in 2018.[1] The event is organized by the Korea Singers Association, the Korea Entertainment Producer's Association, the Recording Industry Association of Korea, the Federation of Korean Music Performers and the Korea Music Copyright Association.[2]

Judging criteria[edit]

Winners for the 2018 awards were decided based on the number of broadcasts three South Korean terrestrial TV stations, rankings on the Gaon Music Chart, online voting by the public, musician voting, and critic voting.[3]
