Tochi Bright Clement (born 18 June 2005),[2] professionally known as Kourage Beatz NSI, is a Nigerian record producer.[3][4] He gained initial recognition with the release of his debut album Playboy in 2022.[5] Kourage Beatz NSI gained international recognition after his Alone charted top 5 on Anghami and he was nominated for best record producer at TNMA.[6][7][8]
Early life
Kourage Beatz NSI was born and raised in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria to Nigerian parents.[9] He grew up listening to Juice WRLD, NF, and Davido, who influenced his future style.[10]
Career
Kourage Beatz NSI started as a DJ with the stage name 'DJ Toobright' and later switched to record production. In 2022, he released his first Hip-Hop album Playboy,[11] following the release of Feelings.[12] In 2023, his Alone[13] was released under the NSI RECORDS label.[14]
On September 22, 2023, he released his debut hip hop single Stand Out.[15] On October 2023, Kourage Beatz NSI released AQUA.[16] On November 9, 2023, he collaborated with L.Dre to release a new single Chillwave Dreams.[17] On December 8, Kourage Beatz NSI released his second debut album NEVER CHANGED, JUST GREW UP with featured appearances like L.Dre and Jay Cactus.[18][19]
