Koushik Mahata is an Indian playback singer and Actor who works in Telugu films. Koushik made his debut with C.S.I Sanatan(2023). He acted with Allari Naresh in Ugram (2023). He is also known for his soundtrack in the Telugu film Maaveran(2023). His first music album was made at night (2022). He has since recorded songs for films in various Indian languages, predominantly Hindi. He is signed on by Telegu filmnagar Archived 2023-03-29 at the Wayback Machine.
Early life
Koushik Mahata was born on 27 February 2004 in Medinipur. His father, Ajoy Mahata, is a farmer and businessman in West Bengal, and his mother, Putul Mahata, is a housewife. He showed an inclination towards music at an early age of four, taking after his father's love for singing. He did his schooling up to matriculation from Dhengbahara S.B High School, Medinipur. Thereafter, he continued his schooling at Rangamati Kironmoyee High School, Medinipur, where he formally completed Higher Secondary education and built a base in classical music. He also learnt to play instruments like guitar, piano, harmonium, and drums. By the age of 18, Koushik was well known as a singer in his hometown of Medinipur. He performed live at many events.
After completing his schooling, he moved to Panskura in 2022 and joined Panskura Banamali College. He continued to train in music and acting and ventured into Kollywood. He spent one year polishing his skills in music, traveling and playing with different musicians, and traveled to learn light classical from Prakashjit Singh. He also took training in western music at a music academy in Chennai.
Career
Koushik Mahata is a popular Actor. Latest movies in which Koushik Mahata has acted are Dhoomam, C.S.I Sanatan (2023) and Soppana Sundari(2023). The actor Gayatri Bharadwaj will be a part of the new upcoming Indian movie Tiger Nageswara Rao (2023) and the Bollywood movie Baaghi 4(2023).
