Nathan Ramos (born September 6, 1988), better known under his stage name Kozmo, is an American DJ and record producer.
History
Early career
2010 was Ramos' first year entering the west coast music festival circuit, but only as an attendee. Upon seeing The Flashbulb play live, he decided that producing was right for him.[1]. After establishing himself in the scene over the next couple years and letting it be known of his musical talents, he was booked for his first festival in 2014[2].
2014-2017 saw Kozmo perform at virtually every venue in Seattle, Washington to offer including WAMU Theater, The Showbox, Q Nightclub[3], Nectar Lounge [4][5] and countless others.
People began seeing Kozmo popping up on several festival lineups during this time including Seattle Hempfest[6], Burning Man[7], Emissions West Coast Bass Festival[8][9][10], Bamboo Bass Festival[11], What The Festival[12] and many more.
Tours and live performances
In 2016, Kozmo set out on his first tour entitled "Dedication" with Mike.iLL[13] playing at many locations up and down the west coast. Six months later, Kozmo hit the road again for his "Shape of Bass to Come" Tour[14]
Clean Slate and Kozmo Brand Relaunch
In April of 2017 Kozmo posted from all social media platforms the infamous image of his now retired radio tower logo crumbled to the ground. During this time all media and music related to Kozmo was slowly wiped off the internet in anticipation of his new forthcoming brand relaunch. After releasing his Clean Slate EP in Dec. 2018[15], Kozmo completed his wipe of all social media content and adopted his new social media tags "@kozmosound".
