Krishan Kishore

Krishan Kishore is a Poet, Essayist, Literary critic, and Editor. He lives in St Paul, Minnesota, USA. For a long time, he taught English literature and language in India and the USA.
In 2003, he established Anyatha Sahitya Samvad Parishad and started a widely read, reputed Hindi socio-literary magazine, Anyatha. He also edited an English language magazine, Otherwise, for a short period of time.
In 2007, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan Satyanaryan Moturi Award by the then President of India, Pratibha Patil.
His books include a collection of essays (Sangharsh Yatra ka Pahla Padaav), a collection of poems (Anyatha), and a long epic poem (NadiGhar). A selection of his critical essays appears on the Mahatama Gandhi International Hindi University Wardha Website (Hindi Samay.com).
