Krishan Kishore is a Poet, Essayist, Literary critic, and Editor. He lives in St paul, Minnesota, USA. For a long time, he taught English literature and language in India and USA.
In 2003, he established Anyatha Sahitya Samvad Parishad and started a widely read reputed Hindi socio- literary magazine Anyatha . He also edited an English language magazine Otherwise for a short period of time.
In 2007, he was awarded Padma Bhushan Satyanaryan Moturi Award by the then President of India- Pratibha Patil.
His books include a collection of essays ( Sangharsh Yatra ka Pahla Padaav), a collection of poems ( Anyatha) and a long Epic poem- (NadiGhar). A selection of his critical Essays appears on Mahatama Gandhi International Hindi University Wardha Website (Hindi Samay.com)
