Krishibid Ismail Hossain (born 1 February 1993) is a Bangladeshi entrepreneur, author, and agriculturist. He is the founder of the Krishi Mart Group and serves as the Founder and Managing Director of Krishi Mart E-commerce Ltd, an agriculture-based digital platform in Bangladesh.
He is known for his work in agriculture-focused digital initiatives and for authoring the BD Importers & Suppliers Directory Book, which documents import and wholesale markets in Bangladesh.
Early life and education
Krishibid Ismail Hossain was born on 1 February 1993 in Ullapara Upazila, Sirajganj District, Bangladesh. He completed his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Agriculture from the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT). He later earned a Master of Science in Agriculture (MSc.Ag) from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka.
In addition to his formal education in agriculture, he completed a Diploma in Web and Software Development and a Mini-MBA in Business Administration from the European Institute of Leadership & Management (EILM), Dublin, Ireland.
Career
Hossain began his professional career in 2014 through freelance work in digital technology services. He later expanded his activities into agriculture-based digital platforms and e-commerce initiatives.
He founded Krishi Mart E-commerce Ltd, an online marketplace focused on agriculture-related products and services, and subsequently established the Krishi Mart Group, which operates across agriculture-oriented digital initiatives and supply-chain development in Bangladesh.
Publications
Hossain is the author of the BD Importers & Suppliers Directory Book (ISBN: 978-1-291-91044-5). The book provides information on importers and wholesale markets in Bangladesh and is intended as a reference resource for traders, entrepreneurs, dropshippers, and resellers.
