Kristen Darling (born October 20, 1973 in Chicago, IL) is a romance novelist from the United States.
Biography
Kristen Darling was born on October 20, 1973, in a suburb of Chicago, IL. After receiving a degree in English Writing and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh, Darling accepted a position as a Development Director for a Pittsburgh-based women's shelter. She used her writing skills to draft grant proposals, annual reports, funding appeals, and special events brochures.[1]
After leaving her position with the women's shelter, Darling began working in website design and development, ultimately branching off to create her own website development company.
In 2015, after many years of writing in a professional capacity, Darling decided to put pen to paper and wrote her first novel, The Ghost of You, which she self-published in August 2015.[2]
Kristen met her husband, Dominic, in 1991 and they were married in 2003. They have three children, including twin boys born on Halloween night in 2010.
