Kristian Marolt (born 25 April 1994) is a Croatian singer-songwriter, best known for participating in the third season of the second Croatian version of Pop Idol; Hrvatska traži zvijezdu, and for covering Adele's hit song Hello in Croatian.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

Marolt was born in Zaprešić, Croatia to a Catholic family. He lost his mother in the childhood.[9]
Personal life[edit]
On July 13, 2015, Marolt publicly came out as bisexual in a YouTube video.[10]
Career[edit]
2011: Hrvatska traži zvijezdu[edit]
He began his singing career by participating in the third season of the second Croatian version of Pop Idol; Hrvatska traži zvijezdu.[11] He was dropped from the show in the second live show.[12][13]People were full of superstitions, and they thought that Kristian brought misfortune to the show's candidates.[14]
2015: Avanti and Croatian version of Adele's hit song 'Hello'[edit]

Croatian version of Adele's hit song 'Hello'[edit]
On November 11, 2015, Marolt self-released a cover of Adele's hit song Hello on YouTube, which was completely translated into the Croatian language. Few days later, studio version was released.[22][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
2018: Fire[edit]
On January 18, 2018, Marolt released his first album on MIXGY's label, entitled Fire.[23]
