Kristopher Mullins (born April 23, 1985), also known as Kris Mullins or DJ Kray-Z-K,[1] is an American actor, musician, and DJ. He works on special effects for music videos. Mullins has also started several companies, such as CryoFX.[2]

Education

Mullins was born in the United States. He graduated from San Diego City College in 2011. He graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Music.[3]

Career

Mullins has worked as a special effects supervisor for music videos. Some of these music videos are Starlight (Could You Be Mine) (2014) by Don Diablo & Matt Nash, Like Home (2013) by Nicky Romero & Nervo, and Take Me (2016) by Nicky Romero featuring Colton Avery.[4]

In 2013, Mullins was featured on the TV show Total Blackout. His brother Kenny Mullins also appeared in the show. Mullins has also performed using the artist names DJ Kray-Z-K and Jakato.[5]

Mullins founded CryoFX, a company that provides CO2 (carbon dioxide) effects for immersive Electronic Arts (EA).[2][6] His company, CryoFX, did CO2 effects for Mass Effect: New Earth at the Great America theme park in California.[6] He was one of the founders of a company called Mullins & McGinn Publishing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he started SanitizeFX, a company that makes cleaning products. From 2024 to 2025, Mullins was the Chief Marketing Officer at Capital Max.[7][8][9]
