Krosmaster is a French collectible mini figure game created by Tot and Jérôme Peschard in 2012[1] . Taking place in the transmedia universe of Krosmoz (mainly video games Dofus and Wakfu), it takes characters from the various series and lets them fight in arenas. Several expansions dubbed "seasons" have been released either directly from Ankama and overseas under licence to other companies such as Cool Mini or Not

Goal of Krosmaster[edit]

To win a game of Krosmaster, you must be the only player to have Galons of Glory (GG). This condition is verified at every moment, when there is no more wild [GG]. You win [GG] by defeating an opposing Krosmaster, buying them with Kamas [K] or with demonic rewards. A player can also declare victory if he is the only one to have Krosmaster in play.

Characters[edit]

Most Characters in the Krosmaster series are taken from Ankama's multiple franchises such as Wakfu and Dofus

Video Game[edit]

Simultaneously with the miniatures game, an online playable version was launched in 2012 under the name Krosmaster Arena. It was replaced in November 2015 by a 3D game for Windows, Mac OS and Linux. It was made available on Android and iOS from March of the following year.

In 2019, after eight months of beta testing, this second version of the game was closed for a third time to set up the Board Game Arena platform and board game platform.

International Distribution[edit]

The distribution of the game was initially supported in English-speaking countries by Japanime Games, but was later changed to Cmon Inc[2]. from early 2016 until 2018 after which Distribution began being directly handled by ankama.

Television adaptation[edit]

According to Anthony Roux, artistic director of Ankama, at the Annecy 2016 festival, a TV adaptation is currently being considered. [3]
