Kulacom Jordan, also known as MetroBeam Wireless Telecommunications Co., LLC, was founded in 2006 by Jordanian investors as a telecommunications network offering services to individuals and corporations in Jordan. Services include WiMAX, pre-paid voice, data storage and data management.

Kulacom Jordan was awarded a 3.6 GHz frequency license in January 2008 at a cost of $15.8 million. Kulacom has collaborated with SK Telecom in Korea and Verscom International in Turkey. It has closed after management changes and issues in 2012.

Social responsibility[edit]

'Local Company, Local Talent' is the name of Kulacom Jordan's Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, which aims at promoting and supporting Jordanian talent in various fields including artistic, musical, literary, and sporting activities.

KULACOM Jordan won the 'Best New Entrant in Data Centre' award for the Middle East at the Data Centre Strategies Middle East 2010 Forum that took place in Abu-Dhabi on Tuesday May 25.
