KURAYUKABA is a feature-length animation work currently in production in 2023. Shigeyoshi Tsukahara of Japan wrote and directed the story. steampunk, retrofuturism work.

A private detective and an armored train face gangs in the underground world of a big city.

It was produced after two rounds of crowdfunding. As a result, the pilot film and the first 15 minutes were produced, and the full story was released in 2023.

Story

Ogimachi is a strategic point in the Johoku industrial zone in the northeastern part of the Great Imperial Capital. Sotaro, a troublesome young man who runs a detective agency in one corner, makes ends meet by selling off his personal property.

However, around this time, mysterious incidents of people suddenly disappearing in various places such as *hanba* at the well of the Imperial Capital, abacus classrooms, and streetcars are rampant. It was decided to step into the underground world.

There, Sotaro meets the mysterious armored train "Sokore 463" and its leader, Tane, and challenges the mysterious underground gang group "Fukumento", which is considered to be the mastermind behind the mass disappearance.

Character

Sotaro

The main character of this work. A young man who runs the "Otsuji Detective Agency" in Ogimachi's sake district, he spends his days selling his predecessor's inheritance in pieces.

However, one day, for some reason, he ventures into the underground world and meets Sokore 463.

Tanne

The heroine of this work. She is a mysterious girl who calls herself ``Takinokawa Tane, the research department of the study room, and rents Sokore 463 on a special mission.

She has lantern-colored eyes, and in the video she is glowing.

She is dressed like a museum curator and has a small fox-like fox on her arm. Her weapon is the "Reformed Decade Grenade Pistol".

Tomeomi

An investigation member dispatched to Sokore 463 as a bodyguard for Tanne.

He is logical and inflexible, but at the same time, he is a valuable asset for those who tend to be unrestrained.

He seems to be an old friend of Tanne, and she treats him like her real sister. His weapon is a large Mo-style pistol.

command group leader

A good-natured man who manages the members of Sokore who are always picking on Hana no matter where they look.

His real name is Kai Masaru, and it is said that he was exiled to Sokore 463 for some reason. Sensing his danger makes his nose itchy.

His favorite phrase is "Konchi Kisho!" His weapons can be seen on his back with a sword and a pickaxe.

Saki

An informant girl who is an acquaintance of Sotaro.

Inarizaka

A newspaper reporter who also appeared in "Hana no Mukoufu". She is also an old friend of Sotaro.

Big seat

He has a *karakuri* play on the side of the road, and plays a combination of *karakuri* puppets Akafuku and Shirokichi.

Kudafox

A small fox-like animal that lives in Kuragari.

You can see an individual with red eyes and white hair that Tanne is with and an individual with blue eyes and brown hair that appears in front of Sotaro.

In addition to this, various characters have appeared in the pilot film.
