Kusal Perera
Kusal Perera (b.1949) is a Sri Lankan writer, journalist and political critic. He has written for a number of Sri Lankan national newspapers and published several books in Sinhala and English.
Early life and education[edit]
Kusal Perera has lived in Colombo most of his life and was educated at Isipathana College.
Political activity[edit]
Kusal Perera was a member of the group of activists who organized the general strike that took place in 1980 in Sri Lanka. He has also been involved in many trade union activities since then.

Journalistic writing[edit]
Kusal Perera has written for a number of national newspapers: Lankadeepa, Daily Mirror, Lakbima, Ravaya. He currently contributes regularly to some of these newspapers. His articles are regularly translated to Tamil.
