Thakur is distinct from the Indian singer of the same name and is recognized for his contributions in industrial artificial intelligence, vibration diagnostics, Remaining Useful Life estimation, and reliability engineering.
Early life and education
Thakur grew up in India and completed his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Manipal Institute of Technology.[2]
He later pursued advanced executive programs in innovation, engineering management, and digital transformation at the Stanford University Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE).[3]
Career
Thakur began his career as a research scientist working on artificial intelligence, neural networks, and advanced analytics. He later joined Honeywell, where he became a Senior Product Manager specializing in Industrial AI, Asset Performance Management (APM), vibration diagnostics, and predictive maintenance solutions.[4]
