Kuwait Champions Challenge is a new friendly tournament created by KFA and Kuwait Public authority of sport it was created to honour the re-opening of Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.[1]
The 2015 edition would be the opening of the tournament held by world XI vs Kuwait XI this will be the only time held by 2 non-official teams.
The first edition was in works with Football Champions Tour.
System[edit]
the first edition had Kuwait XI where fans voted Kuwaiti players to play the match vs World stars XI coached by Carlo Ancelotti. Carlo Ancelotti was the first guest to be announced as manager of World Stars XI alongside Mohammed Ebrahim as Manager of Kuwait XI.[2]
