Kuya Manzano (born 1977) is a Spanish-Filipino actor, producer, and director known for his work in Philippine cinema and television.
Early life
Kuya Manzano was born in Madrid, Spain in 1977. He is a great-grandnephew of José Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines.
Son of a Spanish father and a Filipino mother he started acting and singing professionally in Spain and European tours in 1998.
Moved to China to perform in Shanghai during 2010 and finally migrated to the Philippines in 2011 to join show business.
Career
Kuya Manzano has appeared in numerous Filipino films and television series, including "Can't Buy Me Love" (2024), "GomBurZa" (2023)[1], "He's Into Her" (2021), and "Heneral Luna" (2015).
His first big break in the Philippines was leading the opera Noli Me Tangere as the lead tenor Ibarra. [2]
He has a very extensive filmography in TV, theater, commercials, and cinema in the Philippines since his arrival in 2011. [3]
