Playing career[edit]

Prior to turning professional, Bigos attended Merrimack College where he played four seasons (2009-2013) of NCAA Division I hockey with the Merrimack Warriors men's ice hockey team.

On July 8, 2013, the Edmonton Oilers traded Bigos to the San Jose Sharks in exchange for Lee Moffie,[1] and he started his professional career in the ECHL with the San Francisco Bulls.

On March 15, 2014, Bigos made his AHL debut[2] playing with the Worcester Sharks in a 4-0 win over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.[3]

On June 27, 2015, Bigos signed his first contract abroad in agreeing to a one-year deal with Scottish club, the Edinburgh Capitals of the Elite Ice Hockey League.[4] Following one season in the United Kingdom, Bigos returned to North America as a free agent, agreeing to a one-year deal with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL on August 31, 2016.[5] He played in two games with the Steelheads in the 2016–17 season, before leaving to club in oder to pursue other interests outside hockey on November 3, 2016.

On September 11, 2017, Bigos agreed to a one-year ECHL deal with the Quad City Mallards.[6]
